Louis Latour Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Truffieres
Description: Home to some of the world's most extraordinary Chardonnays including the famous Montrachet, Chevalier-Montrachet and Batard-Montrachet. The village wines are racy with a bouquet of almonds, fern, hawthorn and peaches. The flavours are rich but steely, a characteristic that often distinguishes them from their neighbours in Meursault and Chassagne. Puligny-Montrachet 1998 tasted April 11th 2000: Pale lemon in colour with a gentle aroma of toast, with soft fruity citrus, and buttery hints. The palate is fatter, showing typical Puligny characters, elegant, mineral and charming fruit. Still youthful, with an exciting future ahead. Soil: Limestone and scree. Vinification: Oak aged in cask with 100% malolactic fermentation. (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Des Vieux Pruniers Rose Sancerre
Description: Domaine de Vieux Pruniers is situated in the heart of Bué, one of the finest villages in the Sancerre appellation. Production is small, with a 'hands on' approach in the vineyard and minimal handling in the winery. Made exclusively from Pinot Noir it the grapes come from small vineyards that yield small parcels of fruit. The grapes are harvested and vinified seperately in stainless steeel, temperature controlled tanks with the greatest care possible to respect the delicate, fruity characters. During the fermentation the wine is racked off the skins before too much colour or tannin is extracted and rested in steel tanks until blending, filtering and bottling. Possesses a lightly aromatic, juicy nose of strawberries with hints of crushed leaves. The palate is dry, light and fruity with a mouthwatering layer of red fruits covering its vivacious, mineral acidity that lends elegance and poise to the long, crisp finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Quinta do Crasto LBV Port Douro
Description: Available in half bottles. The modern winemaking era of Quinta do Crasto dates back as far as 1615, but its Roman ruins suggest earlier viticultural activity. For many years, the vineyard, owned by the Roquette family, sold its grapes to A.A. Ferreira until a revision in shipping laws made it possible for Quinta do Crasto to ship its own Port. It has produced a very dark strawberry red coloured Port, with powerful aromas of dark forrest fruit and earth. Wtih rounded spicy, plumy fruit flavours this wine is complemented by its good length. (12 x 37.5 cl)
