Description: For more than 75 years, the Indelicato family has been crafting fine wines while assembling a portfolio of world class estate vineyards. Today, Delicato harvests more than 10,000 acres of vineyards across the top grapegrowing regions of California. These range from the coastal cool of the legendary San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey to the rolling foothills of Lodi. A celebrated team of highly experienced winemakers has brought decades of expertise to bear on these remarkable grapes, to create Delicato wines of distinctive character and memorable quality. Most of the Chardonnay fruit selected for this wine was harvested from some of the oldest vineyard blocks in the San Bernabe Vineyard in Southern Monterey County. These twenty-five year old blocks have historically borne fruit of great depth and intensity of flavour. This deep golden Chardonnay showcases the great depth of Monterey and San Bernabe Vineyard fruit flavour. The aroma is of fresh pears, ripe apples, and tropical fruit all wound tightly around an enticing butterscotch core. In the mouth the wine is full-bodied, rich and silky and reminiscent of pineapple, coconut and lemon peel. The long, rich finish is enhanced by hints of spicy oak. (12 x 75 cl)

Domaine Lucien Albrecht Pinot Blanc Reserve Alsace
Description: Domaine Albrecht is located in Orschwihr, Southern Alsace, its origins going back to 1772. Their vineyards, along slopes facing south to south east benefit from a prime exposure on the foothills of the Vosges Mountains thus ensuring early ripening. Lucien Albrecht has 65 acres of vines and is rated amongst the most important producers in Alsace. The vineyard is located in Orschwir, which is situated in the lower part of Alsace. The wine making techniques used at Lucien Albrecht make full use of modern equipment in a very up to date winery. Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks and is slow and temperature controlled in order to obtain the finest fruit flavours. This 100% Pinot Blanc has a generously aromatic nose with a palate showing excellent weight of fruit, texture and complexity.
