Description: Straw yellow with a green tinge, this wine opens with a full bouquet of lime and lemon-dominated citrus aromas, followed by caramel butterscotch and a hint of boiled sweets. The palate is full, round and demonstrates a rich mixture of caramel, vanilla, and citrus characters. The finish is fresh with the flavours lingering in the palate.Grapes where harvested at Warwick at 24,5 ºB from blocks with a typical density of 3000 vines per hectare. Sixty percent of this wine spent eight months in new French oak after fermentation in the same barrels. During the time in barrel the lees was stirred weekly to increase the fullness of the wine. The rest of the wine was fermented in stainless steel to add to the fruitiness of the wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Description: The Borgo Selene Rosso is a blend of Nero d’Avola and Nerello Mascalese. It is smooth and round with upfront red fruit and an ample bouquet reminiscent of of strawberries, plums and juicy morello cherries. The wine hails from winemakers Curatolo in Marsala. The Curatolo family has been producing excellent Marsala and wine for over a century. Since the 1999 vintage Alberto Antonini has acted as a consultant to the Curatolos and brought with him the modern winemaking skills that allow the varieties to express their maximum potential. The Borgo Selene wines are made and blended by Alberto Antonini. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau Pichon-Longueville Comtesse-de-Lalande 2eme Cru Classe Pauillac
Description: The Pichon Longueville estate goes back to 1688-69. In 1859 Virginie de Pichon Longueville, Comtesse de Lalande and her two sisters inherited three-fifths of the vineyard from their father. This took on the name of Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande. In 1978, May-Elaine de Lencquesaing, daughter of Edouard Miailhe, in turn inherited this beautiful property and devoted herself entirely to continuing the tradition of quality wine. Just two families have been responsible for maintaining this wine's superb reputation for three centuries. Bordering on Chateau Latour; second growth Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande is located in the southern part of Pauillac, near Saint-Julien. The unusual choice of grapes varieties is a partial explanation for this wine's outstanding personality.
