Chateau Monbousquet Grand Cru St-Emilion
Description: This wine is a blend of 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Here the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled, stainless steel tanks and the wine is then aged in 100% new oak barrels for 18 months. Finally, Monbousquet is bottled unfined and unfiltered. A deep dark red coloured wine with aromatics dominated by forrest fruits, chocolate and vanilla. Powerful and intense this wine goes long into the finish as winemaker and owner Gerard Perse stamps his mark on this complex, well made wine. (12 x 75 cl)
