| Description: |
 |
There's a surprising concentration of both green and ripe fruit here, balanced by a nervy thread of citrus liveliness and a mineral note on the finish. It is packed full of the verdant flavours of the region. Andrew Catchpole Of The Telegraph (12 x 75 cl)

At Terras Gauda they distil the Porta do Mino eaux-de-vies from the marc of the Albarino grape. Their meticulous elaboration is inspired by the traditional production methods of O Rosal eaux-de-vie and a desire to achieve a polished potable product. The aromatic composition of the white eaux-de-vie is complex with lovely fragrances, perfectly harmonised, reminiscent of the floral, fruity origins of the grapes, but supplemented also by notes of walnut and coffee bean. Bodegas Terras Gauda TERRAS GAUDA O Rosal Rias Baixas

Ferrer Wine Estates VIONTA Albarino Rias Baixas DO
Description: The 40 hectare Vionta Estate, just north of Cambados was one of the first, training the vines on Cordons to help dry to grapes after the frequent rains. The result was higher sugar production for better balanced alcohol with the naturally high acidity, producing a wonderfully complex wine. This is helped by the fact that Albarino is naturally high in glycerine, which aids bottle maturation. (6 x 75 cl)
