Caliterra Sauvignon Blanc Curico Valley Chile
Description: The Caliterra Sauvignon Blanc is a fresh, elegant wine with a lovely yellow-green colour. The intense aromas feature tropical fruit, especially pineapple, together with notes of grapefruit and lemon. On the palate, the deliciously creamy texture is well balanced by lively acidity and good structure. The wine is made to enjoy in its youth, although it should develop an interesting bouquet after a few years in the bottle. (12 x 75 cl)

Echeverria Unwooded Chardonnay Curico Valley Chile
Description: In 1740 the Echeverría family moved to Chile, and has been prominent in Chilean agriculture, and active in grape growing and winemaking since then. In the early 1900's, the Echeverría family established a vineyard and winery in the outskirts of the town of Molina, in the Curico Valley, the wine heartland of Chile. Since then, Vina Echeverría has been growing fine grapes from French pre-philloxera rootstocks, and producing fine wines in that same location. Great care is taken in making this wine, harvested by hand the grapes are carried to the winery in 18 Kg. boxes immediately after cutting. Destemmed and chilled the grapes undergo direct pneumatic pressing, 24 to 48 hours of static sedimentation and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 14 days. This is followed by static cold stabilization at -5ºC for 15 days it is then stored in stainless steel tanks at 10ºC prior to bottling. This unwooded Chardonnay is a pale yellow colour with golden tones. The fresh varietal aroma, with hints of peaches, pears and bananas compliments this well balanced wine that is showing fresh and crisp acidity. In the mouth it is round and creamy, with a nice long finish. Available in half bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl)
