Description: The vineyard is owned by Vincent Fabre and his family in neighbouring Pauillac and St Estephe. Spread over 33ha the grape blends are 70% Cabernet Sauvignon giving firmness, longevity and nobility, 26% Merlot giving richness and smoothness, 2% Cabernet franc-suppleness, 2% Petit Verdot-breeding and distinction. Description: Chateau Lanessan is owned by the Bouteiller family, descendants of the Delbos family who originally owned the vineyard, and do their utmost to combine modernity and tradition in developing their wines. This red is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot as well as a little 5,0% Cabernet Francs and 5,0% Petit Verdot. Once in the winery great care is taken in producing this wine that finally spends 16 to 18 months in French oak barrels with clear racking every 3 months. A clear ruby colour it is showing an earth and tobacco bouquet. Chateau Latour Carnet Cru Bourgeois Haut Medoc
Description: La Tour Carnet is a 4 eme class growth incorporating 125 ha estate, where the vineyards cover approximately 48 ha, with the vines being an average of 24 years old. The property is made up of 50% Cabernet sauvignon, 39% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc. The harvest is picked manually and transported in small 25 to 30 kg cages, the grapes are then sorted by hand. Fermentation lasts 8 to 9 days and the maceration lasts aproximately 25 to 30 days. Regular reassemblies ensure a permanent contact between the skin and the grape juice. Punctuated by frequent rackings, ageing lasts around 18 months, in barrels 50% new each vintage. The dense purple robe reveals a nose of dark red fuits, coffee and licorice. Medium body with fresh tannins and a long finish. Available in the original wooden case.

Description: CHARACTERISTICS: A ruby-purple colour, this wine is characterised by a nose of ripe black fruits and damsons with hints of oak and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine's ripe fruit and red berry fruit flavour's lead to a complex and lingering finish. LOCATION: Chateau Mille Roses covers just five hectares, in the village of Macau not far from the borders of the commune of Margaux, in the Haute-Médoc. The property is owned by David Faure. SOIL: Topsoil consists of outcrops of gravel over sand subsoil, with some limestone and clay. CLIMATE: The Gulf Stream generally gives Bordeaux mild winters, warm summers and long, sunny autumns. The district is protected from westerly and north-westerly winds by the continuous coastal strip of pine forest. GRAPES: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc. Average vine age is 25 years.
