This Chardonnay exhibits a very un-Meursault like subtlety, an absolute beauty, fresh citrus fruit, chalky intense, fragrant white flower and peach blossom character, very classy. Domaine du Marquis d'Angerville is one of the most famous estates in Burgundy, being one of the very first to bottle its own wines. In 2003 the legendary Jacques d'Angerviiie sadly passed away. His influence on the region over the years was unquestionable. Following his death Jacques' son Guillaume, decided to leave the world of banking in Paris and return to Volnay to head the domaine. Working alongside brother-in-law Renaud de Villette, Guillaume looks set to continue the success of the domaine. (12 x 75 cl)

Olivier Leflaive CLOS de CROMIN Meursault
Description: The Meursault Clos du Cromin vineyard lies very close to the village on the Volnay side. It is therefore warmer, making for a seductive style with ripe plump fruit, some honeyed character and buttered grilled citrus. (12 x 75 cl)

P De Marcilly Meursault AC
Description: An excellent negociant house, the company was founded in 1849 and, although it now benefits from the technical expertise as part of the Boisset group, members of the family are still involved in the running of the winery. The style of the wines strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional Burgundian winemaking. This Meursault has very distinctive oak aromas, with some vanilla and walnut notes. The palate of this Chardonnay is full bodied, smooth and lingering. (6 x 75 cl)
