Domaine Bel Air LES VINGT LIEUX DITS Bourgueil
Description: Les Vingt Lieux Dits, as the name implies, is a cuvee produced from 20 different vineyard sites. Neither fined nor filtered this is dark chunky Bourgueil with all the chunks left in. Aged in futs de chene after a three week maceration this Cabernet Franc exhibits terroir from the gravelly-sandy soils. A balanced and fruity example of this under-rated appellation with plenty of tannin, but not at all aggressive. Morello cherries and blackcurrants, liquorice and green peppers and a touch of undergrowth. Lovely acidity keeps the wine fresh and alive on the palate and enhances those savoury notes. (12 x 75 cl)
