Terrale Catarratto is a white wine made from native Sicilian grapes. Hand picked grapes were crushed, de stemmed and must chilled to press. The juice was soft pressed, clarified and then fermented using natural yeasts. On completion of fermentation, the wine was re blended, clarified and held cold prior to bottling. A soft green gold colour and the nose is elegant and lifted with the classic characteristics of peach and nectarine fruits. The palate is very characteristic of Cattarato with strong nectarine flesh with an elegant but assertive fruit character, especially towards the finish. The finish is long and balanced. A real Sicilian variety crafted with new world winemaking to emphasise the fruit highlights available from this variety. (12 x 75 cl)

Terrale Nero d'Avola Sicily
Description: Terrale Nero D'Avola is a red wine made from native Sicilian grapes, hand picked for minimal maceration and optimum maturity. The grapes were received and fermented in closed containers using naturally selected yeasts. On completion of fermentation, 15% of the wine was racked to one and two -year-old Oak barrels where it completed malo lactic fermentation. It was then re-blended with the remainder and further matured, clarified, put to bottle and further matured prior to release. This wine reveals a red violet colour with purple edges and the nose is elegant and savoury. The palate is intense and concentrated showing pungent fruit, as well as sweetness from a portion of Shiraz. An inventive blend of new and old world designed to give finish, length and especially middle palate sweetness to an authentic Sicilian variety. (12 x 75 cl)

Villa Tonino Grillo Sicily
Description: The Grillo has a straw yellow colour and a rich bouquet of bananas and ripe white fruits. It is full yet crisp on the palate, and has a nutty and long lasting finish. The Curatolo family works closely with Alberto Antonini on their Grillo in order to have at hand the modern winemaking skills required to allow these varieties to express their maximum potential. Antonini chose the fruit carefully and used refrigeration and inert gas both to preserve and protect the flavours that had accumulated under the hot Sicilian sun. (12 x 75 cl)

Villa Tonino INZOLIA Sicily
Description: The Inzolia has a spicy, aromatic character on the nose that gives way to a rich, rounded fruit on the palate. It is refreshing and individual, and is probably the most exciting wine we have tasted. Though modern in style, the clarity of the fruit retains a distinctly Sicilian character. (12 x 75 cl)
