Description: Chateau d Yquem is unquestionably one of the finest and most highly sought after dessert wines in the world. In the famous 1855 classification, Chateau d Yquem was the only wine to be accorded the rank of Grand Premier Cru. Even the top Bordeaux red wine producers, such as Lafite and Latour, were simply classed as Premier Crus. Only one glass of wine per vine is produced at d'Yquem after a painstaking harvest and severe selection in the winery. Yquem is located on the highest hill in Sauternes and enjoys the best growing conditions in the whole appellation. The 110-hectare vineyard is planted with 80% Semillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc. Only fully botrytized fruit is picked by the 150 highly skilled pickers and yields are so low that each vine produces only one glass of wine. (6 x 75 cl)

De Castelnau Non Vintage Brut Champagne
Description: Established in 1962, Cooperative Regionale des Vins de Champagne flagship brand is Champagne de Castelnau. The Non Vintage champagne is aged 5 years and is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier with about 20% of the blend being from reserve wines. Great care from the vineyard to the winery has produced a rich yellow coloured Champagne with streams of tiny bubbles. Honyed nose with undertones of dried fruit and toffee give way to a lively palate with hints of lychees and pineapple while this Champagne is well rounded and long on the finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Chateau Duhart Milon 4eme Cru Classe Pauillac
Description: The Rothschild family acquired Chateau Duhart-Milon, a 4th Cru in the 1855 classification from the Castejas of Pauillac, in 1962. The property was named after the Sieur of Duhart, gun-runner to Louis XIV, who owned this land, and from the name of the little hamlet of Milon which stands on a knoll separating this vineyard from that of Chateau Lafite. Since the acquisition, a lot of work has been done to re-establish the name and the reputation of this cru classe: replanting and developing the vineyard; building new modern chais and cuvier; paying strict attention to the viticulture as to the vinification.. The fine wine from Chateau Duhart-Milon is often described as a classic version of Pauillac appellation. It has a distinguished and reserved character. The courtier Abraham Lawton noted as early as 1815 that 'it has firm taste, a fine color, and a pronounced seve'. This strong personality of Chateau Duhart-Milon remains accurate today. (12 x 75 cl)
