The grapes were harvested in the first 10 days of October then Maceration on the skins in rotary fermenters for about 7-8 days. The Wine was then aged 24 months in oak and approximately a further 12 months in bottle. The 2000 vintage is packed with of plum, prune and coffee aromas that are also prevalent on the palate. The Conterno Fantino style is evident in this full-bodied wine, with soft tannins and a long finish.
