The Vineyard Select 2003 Riesling merges fruit from two premium appellations for enhanced dimension and complexity. Riesling from Firestone's estate vineyards in Santa Barbara County’s Santa Ynez Valley imparts ripe, classic varietal flavours and textural richness, while a balance of fruit from cooler Monterey County ensures crisp acidity and appealing citrus accents. Crafted in the classic off-dry style, the 2003 Riesling begins with a vivid bouquet of honeysuckle and pear. The honeysuckle notes continue on the palate, anticipating bright flavours of apricot, melon and citrus. A subtle sweetness is balanced by crisp acidity on a full, lingering finish.
