Cielo E Terra BLUSH Pinot Grigio delle Venezie IGT
Description: Cielo e Terra was established in 1908, thanks to the passion of vinegrowering families from the Veneto Region. Today, Cielo e Terra has taken root in over 3000 hectares of vineyards cultivated by the vinegrowers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The aim of this Cantine is to enhance the wine and culture of the Berici Hills, innovate the quality and image of the wines and promote increased control over the entire vine-growing and wine-producing chain. This has resulted in a rose coloured wine with copper reflections and a refined, intense bouquet with extremely pleasing hints of fruit. Slightly sparkling with a pleasing palate it is an enjoyable, harmonious wine. (12 x 75 cl)

Specogna RAMATO Pinot Grigio Colli Orientali del Friuli
Description: This Pinot Grigio is one of the few remaining that is 'coppery' in colour and the 2006 Pinot Grigio Ramato is no exception. It has a wonderful bouquet reminiscent of acacia flowers, grapefruit and fresh apricots. The palate is rich and full, elegant and crisp, with a balanced acidity and a rich, lingering finish. The Specogna family now has 15 hectares of vineyard on the hill of Rocca Bernarda in the heart of the Colli Orientali DOC zone in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. The quality of the fruit grown by Graziano Specogna and his family is impeccable. These are highly individual wines with a great richness of flavour. (12 x 75 cl)

Gallo uses only used large barrels for the Pinot Grigio to ensure the oakiness does not smother the delicacy of the fruit. Gianfranco Gallo is a perfectionist. Not for him the unoaked, over-sweetened simplicity of many white wines from Friuli; he is more interested in richness, texture, length, complexity and the ability to age.
