Description: Established in 1937 Caves do Solar de Sao Domingos has been run since 1970 by Lopo de Sousa Freitas. The fully ripe grapes are harvested manually and carefully taken to the winery. The grapes are then de-stalked and put in stainless steel tanks separately before being aged in French Oak barrels for 6 months. A ruby red blended wine with ripe fruit aromas leading to dark berry fruit flavours, supple tannins and an enjoyable finish. (6 x 75 cl)
