Nottage Hill Cabernet Shiraz South Eastern Australia
Description: Nottage Hill was named in honour of Thomas Nottage who managed Hardys vineyards and cellars at McLaren Vale in South Australia for over 60 years. The Nottage Hill Cabernet Shiraz is brick red in colour with purple hues. The wine displays aromas of blackcurrant and plum integrated with chocolate, mint and cinnamon. On the palate soft fruit tannins compliment the rich berry fruit flavours. The wine is balanced with cleansing acidity and subtle oak tannin on the finish resulting in a wine with good palate structure and flavour persistence. Fruit for this wine was picked in the cool of the night, to ensure that maximum varietal flavour and freshness of character was retained. After the fruit was carefully crushed, it was fermented in static stainless steel fermenters and then a portion of the blend spent time in oak, while the remainder was stored in stainless steel tanks. (12 x 75 cl)

Hardy's STAMP OF AUSTALIA Riesling/Gewurztraminer South Eastern Australia
Description: Hardys Stamp of Australia offers one of Australia’s most popular, easy to drink range of wines. Stamp of Australia continues the tradition of fine winemaking that Hardys have become recognised for throughout the world. The Stamp range is identified by the original Australian postage stamp, dating back to 1937, which is featured on all Stamp of Australia wines. The Stamp of Australia Riesling Gewurztraminer is pale straw in colour and displays fresh zesty citrus, spice and floral aromas. On the palate sweet tropical and citrus fruit flavours are backed with spice and zesty acid finish. Winemaker’s Notes: Stamp Riesling Gewurztraminer has been blended from selected batches of Riesling and Traminer grapes night harvested at moderate ripeness to achieve the desired fruit flavours. Selected parcels of fruit were then fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to retain varietal fruit freshness. Inter-regional blending has produced a wine with an ideal balance of the lime/citrus flavours of the Riesling and the fresh spiciness of the Traminer. (12 x 75 cl)

Grosset POLISH HILL Riesling Clare Valley Australia
Description: This vintage is very much in the style of the very best Polish Hill Rieslings, with a vibrant zesty lime and mineral character, tight, steely structure, impeccable balance, layer after layer of intense flavour, and a refreshing, lingering bone-dry finish. Fruit for the Polish Hill Riesling is sourced from a single vineyard, planted at 460 metres above sea level on sandy loam over shallow clay, with underlying gravel, shale and slate. Like the Grosset Watervale Riesling, it has been made each year since 1981. Jeffrey Grosset is one of the luminaries of the Australian wine industry, the result of consistent and stellar quality over the past 25 years, and has almost single-handedly been responsible for the renaissance of Clare Riesling. His Polish Hill Riesling, one of the world’s great examples of this variety, stands out as Australia’s finest Riesling. (12 x 75 cl)
