Mud House BLACK SWAN Reserve Pinot Noir Marlborough
Description: This is a perfumed wine showing excellent intensity of Pinot Noir character and upfront fruit. It has black cherry and mushroom flavours and integrated subtle spicy oak. It has been hand-plunged during fermentation after which it was transferred to new and used French oak barriques for 12 months ageing. Serve with subtly flavoured meat and mushroorn dishes, which would be an excellent complement to the wine. This Pinot will be at its best between two and five years from the harvest date, but it can be enjoyed immediately for its attractive primary fruit characters.

Description: Errazuriz Pinot Noir displays ripe blackberry and floral aromas, while raspberry and black cherry flavours draw forward on the palate. Malolactic characters contribute a buttery richness. Vanilla and toast are well integrated with the floral notes on the finish. With proper cellaring, this wine should continue to improve in the bottle for about three years after vintage. (6 x 75 cl)
