The wine producing area of La Rioja, along the valley of river Ebro, is bordered by the Sierra de Cantabria to the north and the Sierra de la Demanda to the south which gives distinctive microclimates to the region ranging from Atlantic to Mediterranean. Paternina are dedicated to the production of quality Rioja. They strive for fruit character in their early-drinking whites whilst aiming for structure, fruit and ageing potential in their prestige reds. They combine technically sophisticated means of fermentation and production together with traditional oak ageing in their immense maturation cellars. (6 x 75 cl)
