Chateau Haut Bernat Puisseguin Saint Emilion AC
Description: This 7 hectare Vineyard was purchased in 1991 by Domenica Bessineau of Les Vignobles Bessineau. An owner with a passion for his wines he considers the richness of the soil and with generosities of nature to be essential to making great wines. Under the expert and watchful eye of Michel Rolland, Château Haut-Bernat has gone from strength to strength over the past few years. Making the best of the clay, sand and limestone soil the vineyard is planted with, on average, 25 year old Merlot vines. The manually harvested wine is aged 12 months in the barrel, 50% are new each year, to produce a deep dark red coloured wine with purple reflections on the rim. An expressive nose combining woody and spicy aromas with juicy red fruits flavours as well as good mouth feel, structure and length on the finish. (12 x 75 cl)
