Schloss Vollrads Riesling KABINETT Rheingau
Description: The Riesling Kabinett from Schloss Vollards is pale green-gold in colour and fragrant, with lemons, limes and zesty, ripe fruit on the palate. It has a clean long aromatic finish balanced by a mineral acidity typical of the best Rheingau Rieslings. The quality of the Schloss Vollrads wines is the culmination of the work done by Rowald Hepp since 1997. They have pristine Riesling flavours, unmarred by the addition of suss-reserve, stunning perfumes, great length, balance and a weight that derives from the natural ripeness of the fruit rather than sugar. Once again the Riesling Kabinett is sealed using a Vinolok closure to insure it reaches you in perfect condition. (12 x 75 cl)

Selbach-Oster Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett
Description: Kabinett is a relativley rare beast these days in the Mosel, such ha e been the changes in temperature of late. Johannes only makes a Kabinett that, for him, tastes like a Kabinett, in other words a beautifully pure and delicate wine with perfectly balanced sweetness. Here is such a wine. Selbachs have been cultivating Riesling vines in the Mosel since 1661. Today Johannes Selbach and his wife Barbara run the Estate which is now one of the leading producers in the Mittel Mosel. There are 10.6 hectares of vineyards including holdings in Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Zeltinger Sonnenuhr, and Graacher Dowmprobst. The grapes are hand picked and then fermented in traditional in large oak barrels. The emphasis here is on finesse and purity of fruit with supremely elegant Kabinett and Spatlese wines as well as powerful and more concentrated Auslese wines. (12 x 37.5 cl)
