Dopff & Irion Tokay Pinot Gris Alsace
Description: The Irion and Dopff families were already wine connoisseurs in the 16th Century and have been closely involved in the fortunes of the village of Rique throughout the ages. The firm of Irion and Dopff was established when Rene Dopff joined fortunes with the widowed Madame Irion. Clustered around Riquewihr, the 27 hectare vineyard worked by Dopff and Irion is extremely well situated. The different types of soil and the varied climate means that rich, powerful and complex wines are created. The Tokay or Pinot Gris grape has a lovely full, fresh and very crisp style with spicy, rich flavours and a long, fruity finish. (12 x 75 cl)

Zwack Dobogo Tokay Aszu 6 PUTTONYOS Tokaji Hungary
Description: This is a modern Tokay, with a wonderful cleanliness of intense, apricoty fruit on the nose. On the palate, it is rich and sweet yet finishes dry with superb length. In the first step of aszu making, aszu berries are selected and picked directly from the bunches of the vine in several turns. Aszu berries are then collected in vats and crushed gently to make aszu paste. Aszu paste is subsequently added in measured quantities to a defined volume of must made of fresh berries or to base wine. Following a process of maceration , aszu berries are separated from the wine, which is then allowed to age for at least two years in wooden barrels and another one year in the bottle before sale. (6 x 50 cl)

Rothbury Estate BROKENBACK Semillon Hunter Valley New South Wales
Description: Brokenback Semillon is light pale straw in colour. Lifted aromas of mineral and lemon on the nose follow through as intense flavours on the tightly structured and lean palate. Cellaring: The cellaring potential of premium Hunter Valley semillon is well known. The Rothbury Estate Brokenback Semillon is a fine example of the variety, and with careful cellaring will continue to develop toasty and savoury characters with three to eight years of bottle age. Winemaking: After crushing and pressing the juice was chilled prior to being racked bright into a temperature-controlled tank for fermentation. In the tradition of great Hunter Valley Semillon this wine was bottled early to retain the fresh varietal fruit character. (6 x 75 cl)
