Chateau D'Issan 3eme Cru Classe Margaux
Description: This 52 hectares Chateau has a moat around it a legacy of its place in history. Today, however, it not only grows grapes for the production of its own Chateau wine but also that of Blason d'Issan, Chateau de Candale and Moulin d'Issan. The gravelly soil vineyards are planted with 35 year old Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot vines. The wine is produce and aged 50% in new barrels between 16 and 18 months, and is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. The 2002 vintage is a classic Margaux, with a deep ruby almost purple colour and floral aromas as well as red and black currant hints. A ripe fruit flavoured wine, almost sweet in the mouth with a complex tannin structure and very good length. (12 x 75 cl)

Chateau La Tuilerie Des Combes Lussac Saint Emilion
Description: This 7 hectare vineyard is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% of Cabernet Franc. The wines produced are typical Lussac-St-Emilion, after 18 months in the barrel these wines are a beautiful garnet-red colour, very ripe fruit based nose and great balance, rounded tannins which ensures long ageing. The on-going investment in the Vineyards and cellar culminated in a major refurbishment of the Chateau in 2002 and it has paid enormous dividends with a superb vintage that has eclipsed many Grand Cru St Emilion. Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse 5eme Cru Classe Pauillac
Description: Chateau Grand-Puy-Ducasse is located adjacent to Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste in the commune of Pauillac. It takes its name from its location, Grand Puy translated to mean big hill. The vines average 25 years of age and the plantings are 62% Cabernet Sauvignon and 38% Merlot. Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste 5eme Cru Classe Pauillac
Description: This estate dates back to the 16th century with a chateau built partly in 1737 and partly in 1850. The epicurean Raymond Dupin ran Grand Puy Lacoste from 1932 to 1987 and bestowed an excellent reputation upon the wine. The Borie family have subsequently built on this so that it has risen above its cinquieme Cru classe status. Its facets usually include a rich polished, duly concentrated taste with noble tannins. It contains splendid fruit like blackcurrant and often cherry and plum plus restrained oak and vanilla notes with earthy, spicy elements. "Medium-bodied, with excellent depth and ripeness and the Cabernet Sauvignon component dominating its personality, this is a fine Grand-Puy-Ducasse...Anticipated maturity, 2002-2015." Parker, 87.
