Description:
Yangarra means 'From the earth' in an aboriginal dialect, and it is this philosophy that Yangarra Estate, part of Jackson Wine Estates, try and reflect in their wines — minimum human intervention in viticulture and winemaking to produce special wines that reflect their terroir. 100% McLaren Vale estate grown fruit, once in the winery this wine spent 18 months in 33% new, 33% one year old, 33% two years old French oak barriques. 'Old shiraz vines create this complex and opulent wine, with flavours of white, black and green peppercorns, mulberry and boysenberry, with notes of peaty-earthiness along with spices and herbs of thyme and sage.' Description: The Royal Tokaji Wine Company was established in 1989 and the 1st vintage was produced in 1990. Over 50% of the company's vineyards are classified as 1st or 2nd Growths and production is limited to wines with 4 puttonyos and above. It pioneered the production of single vineyard wines and its major role in Tokaji`s renaissance is now widely recognised. This wine is made with great care from the hand picked harvest in the vineyard to ageing a minimum of 3 years in casks at the winery. A blend of 60% Furmint with 20% of both Muscat and Harslevelu this is a sophisticated and complex wine. The herby, honey, spicy nose with hints of raisen is showing rich spicy, marmalade flavours on the palate. Thick textured and extremely sweet the long finish completes this well balanced wine. Available in 50 cl bottles.
