Yalumba Barossa BUSH VINE Grenache South Australia
Description: Yalumba has, for more than 150 years, been a vital part of the Barossa, making wines that reflect the best of the region. This wine is no exception. Made from 70-year-old Grenache bush vines, this is Barossa at its best. Soft and full-flavoured, it shows intense varietal character on the nose with dark cherries and raspberries interwoven with fragrant clove and cinnamon notes. The generous palate displays sweet plums, liquorice and spice which compliments the velvety soft mid palate texture and a long opulent finish. This wine will continue to develop with a further 3-5 years of cellaring. (6 x 75 cl)

Fairview Sauvignon Blanc Malmesbury RSA
Description: The grapes used in the wine are from an old block of unirrigated bush-vines in Malmesbury. The yield was extremely low, and the fruit very good quality. Here te Sauvignon Blanc grapes were harvested in stages to achieve a crisper varietally true Sauvignon, with a full mid-palate, then in the winery destemmed, crushed and held in the drainer overnight. The juice was then cold fermented, and left on its lees for 5 months before bottling. This has produced a pale straw coloured wine showing an intense gooseberry and nettlea nose. The palate combines the good varietal flavours with a long enjoyable finish. (12 x 75 cl)
