Description: In 1811, Jean Ackerman left Champagne to settle in Saumur, in the Loire Valley, where he found the ideal climatic conditions and soil for implementing the unique, traditional method that he knew would give spectacular results. Today, Ackerman remains faithful to its founder and closely monitors the preparation of base wines using rich, concentrated grapes from Saumur, Vouvray and Loire Valley vineyards, then ensures they are perfectly blended. This deep rose coloured sparkling wine is made using the Cabernet Franc grape and has developed red fruit aromas that develop on the persistent palate through to the enjoyable finish.
