Bodegas Terras Gauda TERRAS GAUDA O Rosal Rias Baixas
Description: The wines of Terras Gauda are located in the subzone of O Rosal on the terraces that rise steeply above the river Mino which divides Spain from Portugal. Following soaking and racking, the must is then fermented in new casks made of French an American oak, and then ageed on lees for four months. This has produced a lively, intense, yellow straw colour displaying the pleasant flavours of peach and white flower go hand in hand with hints of melted butter, with slight smokiness from the new cask.A sweet, elegan and fresh wine on the palate, evoking lingering fine wood, with a smooth tannin, whose persistence produces a finish bursting with ripe and toasted fruit sensations. Bodegas Terras Gauda PORTA DO MINO Eau-de-Vie Augardente de Galicia
Description: The wines of Terras Gauda are located in the subzone of O Rosal on the terraces that rise steeply above the river Mino which divides Spain from Portugal. At Terras Gauda they distil the Porta do Mino eaux-de-vies from the marc of the Albarino grape. Their meticulous elaboration is inspired by the traditional production methods of O Rosal eaux-de-vie and a desire to achieve a polished potable product. The aromatic composition of the white eaux-de-vie is complex with lovely fragrances, perfectly harmonised, reminiscent of the floral, fruity origins of the grapes, but supplemented also by notes of walnut and coffee bean.
