Cantina Tollo Montepulciano Rosso Terra di Chieti IGT
Description: Medium bodied ruby red with intense fruit flavours. Well-balanced with good structure. Cantina Tollo deserves great credit for having forged the way forward in Abruzzo and for having been an encouraging example for the region’s more than 30 cooperative wineries. That today it is no longer alone in searching for a balance between good quality and fair pricing simply sheds further luster on the program set in place years ago by Tommaso Perantuono, Giancarlo Di Ruscio and Goffredo Agostini (6 x 2 Litres)

Cantina Negrar Soave Classico DOC
Description: Seven gentlemen, on august 23, 1933, set an appointment in the offices of Francesco Betteloni, notary public, to sign the deed giving birth to the Cantina Sociale Valpolicella. Today, the Cantina Valpolicella directs and coordinates the production of approximately 200 grape-growers with vineyards covering a total of 450 hectares. All these are located in the classic Valpolicella hillside zone. All have the same dedication and passion as the original founders. They work together and in their mutual interests to turn member producer's grapes into high quality wines, performing activities that improve winemaking and grape-growing knowledge and culture. The vineyards are situated on about 450 hectares in the classical Valpolicella Hills area Northwest of Verona, which are mostly concentrated in the town of Negrar. The most used system of cultivation is the traditional Pergola system, with about 2,500-3,000 plants per hectare, while the average age of the vines is 20 years. The cultivation of the vineyard has among its primary objectives the maximum possible degree of respect for nature: for this reason, biological techniques are used, and pesticides are used as little as possible. The harvest is done entirely by hand, with many selections for special wines, such as the Amarone, produced from single vineyards to exalt its characteristics. For this Soave the Garganega and Trebbiano grapes are used as prescribed by production regulations, with a small quantity of Chardonnay. Winemaking is traditional with soft pressing and skinless fermentation. Light refining follows in steel and then stabilisation and bottling. This has produced a straw yellow coloured wine, the palate is zesty and harmonious taking you through to a long finish with plenty of elegance. (6 x 75 cl)

Cantina Negrar Bardolino Classico DOC
Description: Seven gentlemen, on august 23, 1933, set an appointment in the offices of Francesco Betteloni, notary public, to sign the deed giving birth to the Cantina Sociale Valpolicella. Today, the Cantina Valpolicella directs and coordinates the production of approximately 200 grape-growers with vineyards covering a total of 450 hectares. The harvest is done entirely by hand, with many selections for special wines, such as the Amarone, produced from single vineyards to exalt its characteristics. This Bardolino uses Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes that are produced under strict regulations. Brief fermentation with skins in steel containers has produced quite an ambitious version of Bardolino. Rose and violet coloured wine with a delicate fruity and flora bouquet. The oaky note on the nose is harmonious and the palate echoes the fruit, especially cherries while the wine is enjoyably fresh. (6 x 75 cl)
