Description: The Barbera d’Asti has an intense, deep red colour with violet highlights and perfumes of ripe fruit on the nose, with notes of blackberries, plums and bilberries. On the palate it has great intensity; it is warm, ripe and rounded with mature fruit flavours and a solid but supple tannin structure. It is long and spicy to the end. Since starting to bottle in 1978 Bruno Rocca has risen to the top of the quality tree in Barbaresco. He has 8 hectares of vineyard in Rabaja supplemented by smallholdings in Nieve and Treiso.
