Price per case: £111.82
Bottles per case: 12 x 75 cl
Style: Powerful Reds
Description: This wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, has an attractive, deep ruby red colour. The nose opens on rich spice, toast and black cherry aromas, to which a touch of eucalyptus brings subtlety and aromatic refinement. Round and smooth on the palate, the wine is powerful though not excessively so, displaying excellent balance with a combination of fine, well-integrated tannins with notes of vanilla, caramel, liquorice and mocha. The flavoursome finish is generous and complex; this is the expression of a successful varietal mix to which an unusual yet pleasant dash of Syrah brings a touch of pepper and spice, highlighting the wine's exotic character and warmth. Since its creation, Baron Philippe de Rothschild, s.a., has steadfastly pursued its ambition of making the world’s finest wines, each in its own category. Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Maipo Chile, produces fine Chilean wines from the vineyards of the most prestigious valleys. Rigorously selected grapes from the best parcels give supple, fruity wines whose elegance and refinement reflect the distinctive know-how of Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s winemakers. (12 x 75 cl)

Baron Philippe de Rothschild MOUTON CADET Reserve Blanc Graves
Description: This blend of Semillon , Sauvignon and Muscadelle has a brilliant pale gold colour, with a slightly greenish hue. The nose opens on attractive white peach and candied lemon aromas with subtler notes of jasmine blossom. A round and fruity attack on the palate lengthens on the more mineral notes typical of the appellation. The long and succulent finish underlines the richness of flavour and elegance of this white Graves.. Since 1933 Baron Philippe de Rothschild, located at Pauillac in the Medoc, has been motivated by a constant ambition: to make the world's finest wines, each in its own category, whether the chateaux wines for which it is responsible – the renowned Chateau Mouton Rothschild, a First Growth, and its distinguished lieutenants, Chateau Clerc Milon and Chateau d'Armailhac – or branded wines, like the famous Mouton Cadet or the Mouton Cadet Reserve range . Baron Philippe de Rothschild SA has also exported its know-how beyond Bordeaux: to the Pays d'Oc, with a range of varietal wines and, more recently, Domaine de Baron'arques; to California, with Opus One; and to Chile, with Almaviva. One of the key factors behind the company's undisputed success is the art of blending, which it practises with exceptional skill and this is reflected in the Mouton Cadet Reserve range. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Cabernet Franc is a deep garnet red coloured wine. Both dense and elegant, the nose opens with ripe fruit, especially blackcurrant and strawberry. A wine of great class and character, it has a massive attack on the palate that is sustained by well-rounded remarkably textured tannins. Great overall harmony between the forward fruit and high quality structure give way to fine tannic length and an elegant finish. Description: This wine is a mix of Semillon , Sauvignon and Muscadelle . Coppery gold in colour, the wine has a highly concentrated nose of honey, gingerbread and beeswax mingled with fresher notes of acacia and lime blossom, giving an elegant and richly scented whole.
