Description:
This wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, has an attractive, deep ruby red colour. The nose opens on rich spice, toast and black cherry aromas, to which a touch of eucalyptus brings subtlety and aromatic refinement. Round and smooth on the palate, the wine is powerful though not excessively so, displaying excellent balance with a combination of fine, well-integrated tannins with notes of vanilla, caramel, liquorice and mocha. The flavoursome finish is generous and complex; this is the expression of a successful varietal mix to which an unusual yet pleasant dash of Syrah brings a touch of pepper and spice, highlighting the wine's exotic character and warmth.
