Description: This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot and Cabernet Franc is a deep garnet red coloured wine. Both dense and elegant, the nose opens with ripe fruit, especially blackcurrant and strawberry. A wine of great class and character, it has a massive attack on the palate that is sustained by well-rounded remarkably textured tannins. Great overall harmony between the forward fruit and high quality structure give way to fine tannic length and an elegant finish. Since 1933 Baron Philippe deRothschild, located at Pauillac in the Medoc, has been motivated by a constant ambition: to make the world's finest wines, each in its own category, whether the chateaux wines for which it is responsible – the renowned Chateau Mouton Rothschild, a First Growth, and its distinguished lieutenants, Chateau Clerc Milon and Chateau d'Armailhac – or branded wines, like the famous Mouton Cadet or the Mouton Cadet Reserve range .
