The nose opens on rich spice, toast and black cherry aromas, to which a touch of eucalyptus brings subtlety and aromatic refinement. Round and smooth on the palate, the wine is powerful though not excessively so, displaying excellent balance with a combination of fine, well-integrated tannins with notes of vanilla, caramel, liquorice and mocha. The flavoursome finish is generous and complex; this is the expression of a successful varietal mix to which an unusual yet pleasant dash of Syrah brings a touch of pepper and spice, highlighting the wine's exotic character and warmth. Description: This blend of CabernetSauvignon , Merlot and Cabernet Franc is a deep garnet red coloured wine. Both dense and elegant, the nose opens with ripe fruit, especially blackcurrant and strawberry. A wine of great class and character, it has a massive attack on the palate that is sustained by well-rounded remarkably textured tannins. Great overall harmony between the forward fruit and high quality structure give way to fine tannic length and an elegant finish.
