Color: Brilliant, with a dense ruby color and purple hues. Nose: Fruity, with aromas of red cherries, raspberries and cranberries with a touch of vanilla from barrel aging. Palate: Red fruit aromas and spicy notes with a touch of well integrated oak from French barrels. Soft tannins, with round, full bodied mouth feel. General: Soft, well balanced a easy to drink, with persistent fruit perfume, spice, and richness in the finish. This wine is immediately enjoyable. Special Advices, Additional: The oldest working winery in Argentina. Built in 1831. Pre-phylloxera Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon vines planted in 1854. The highest vineyards in the world growing from 2200 m / 7217 ft to 3015 / 9891 ft altitude. The very high altitude enhance the grape's quality in the following way: Due to the very dry air and the altitude the daily thermal amplitude is extreme .
