Ca' Morlin Prosecco dei Colli Trevigiani IGT Frizzante Conegliano
Description: The Frizzante is dry, soft, scented and grapey, a real revelation for Prosecco. Perhaps because of this it has been a huge success since we introduced it almost two years ago: sales are three times higher than they were with our previous Prosecco. This simply confirms what we’ve always thought: quality pays! We are pleased to announce a new closure for our Ca’Morlin Prosecco dei Colli Trevigiani IGT Frizzante (6 x 75 cl) Price: £54.18

Bellenda SpumanteProsecco di Conegliano-Valdobbiadene Spumante Description: On the hills surrounding Conegliano, about 50 miles north of Venice, lies the beautiful estate of Bellenda. In 1987, Sergio Cosmo started this winery located in the very heart of the prosecco producing region while also completely replacing the vine varieties on land he already owned. The Cosmo family also re-designed the layout of the vineyard, planting 80% of the grapes now used for Prosecco and other sparkling wines with the rest used for still wines. Today, Umberto and Luigi Cosmo run the family business. They have a passion for making wine which marries tradition and innovation for the production of truly outstanding wines. The wine is vinified in stainless steel and then by charmat method for two months and as a result Bellenda is clean, fresh and elegant, with delicate, persistent bubbles that enhance its subtle citrussy fruit, while its sharp, mineral-laden lemon flavors deliver. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £77.68

Ca' dei Frati PRATTO Lugana IGT Veneto
Description: Pratto is a light gold in colour and has perfumes of tropical fruit as well as mineral hints so characteristic of Ca' dei Frati. On the palate the wine is rich and dry with while the oak ageing adds a touch of spice. This wine has a long length with a touch of tropical fruit on the finish. Over the past decade, the Dal Cero family has transformed their Ca' dei Frati property into a model Italian estate. Originally they had 12 hectares of vineyard; today, they have 50. This increase in quantity has been matched by an increase in quality, and today they remain the best producers in Lugana. The quality of their vineyards is the secret of their success as many producers in the zone overcrop and train the vines high. At Ca' dei Frati, the vines are trained low, newer vineyards have a higher density of planting, and yields are well below the average for the zone. (6 x 75 cl) Price: £104.68
