Description: The Quinta de Santa Eufemia was founded in 1894 by Bernardo Rodrigues de Carvalho. Situated on the left bank of the river Douro, at an altitude of 300 meters, between Peso da Regua and Pinhao, in the heart of the oldest demarcated wine-producing region in the world. The 40 Hectare estate has the varieties Tinta Barroca, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Touringa Nacional, Tinto Cao, and Tinta Amarela covering 80% of the vineyards, using a mechanised system.
