Description: Tasting Note Cool, crisp white with intense grassy, gooseberry and lime character on both the nose and palate. Long, concentrated and dry, the citrussy acidity runs on and on. A blend of 58% Sauvignon Blanc and 42% Semillon from top sites in Western Australia. Full of thirst-quenching lemon and lime fruit that races across the palate, this is a textbook example of cool climate New World winemaking. The balance between the purity of fruit and the crisp, acidic structure is excellent. A bit about MadFish The winery takes its name from Madfish Bay which can found near Denmark in Western Australia’s Great Southern and where, apparently, fish go loco. Designed to reflect WA’s laid-back lifestyle, both the packaging and the juice are right on the money. As you’d expect from wines made by Howard Park’s crack winemaking team, they are classically cool-climate in style with a real vibrancy of fruit and an abundance of cheeky charm.
