Description: Produced by Australia's second oldest family of winemakers, the Potts family, in Langhorne Creek near Adelaide. The cooler climate here ensures a ripe yet restrained and characterful red. Blending Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon together is classically Australian and this wine is a great example of how these two varieties complement each other so well. Comprising 51% Shiraz and 49% Cabernet Sauvignon the wine displays rich ripe plummy, berry and spice characters from the Shiraz complemented with fragrant herb and mint flavours from the Cabernet. Description: This wine has aromas of juicy summer berries, spice, toasty oak and vanilla, which carries through in the flavour of the wine. Selected vineyards from our growers were used for both the Shiraz and Cabernet component. Shiraz was harvested the last week in February and Cabernet in mid March and fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days. Both wines underwent malolactic fermentation in 300-litre French oak barrels and aged in barrels for 12 months. (6 x 75 cl)
