Vineyard This wine is produced from grapes grown on six vineyards located at the Western end of Waiheke I sland. Within these vineyards we grow five different clones of Chardonnay, each contributing different characters to the final wine, resulting in a more complex and appealing wine. Winemaking The grapes were hand harvested and whole bunched pressed. The j uice was settled for a short period prior to racking to French oak barriques for fermentation and maturation. The wine was aged in barrel on the yeast lees for 8 months prior to blending and bottling. We blended the wine from 8 different lots of wine, reflecting the different clones and vineyard sites.
