The Marion Azienda Agricola is situated in the uncontaminated valley of Marcellise to the East of Verona, is a small, family-run business managed by Stefano Campedelli, together with his wife Nicoletta and brother Marco. Ruby red colour with a hint of violet, the bouquet recalls small woodland fruits, cherries, perennial herbs with a hint of spices. The soft, round palate gives way to a complex, persistent taste. Description: Amarone is a wine which can be considered, more than many others, as a truly artistic product. The wine-making processes involved call for experience and self discipline, crucial ingredients for achieving the full quality of this wine. Only certain vintages provide that outstanding quality worthy of the Amarone name, and one of its secrets lies in maintaining the partial drying process as natural as it is possible to do. A blend dominated by 45% Corvinone; 25% Corvina gentile; 20% Rondinella; 10% Croatina and 5% other varieties is showing an intense ruby red colour with a hint of violet. The bouquet has notes of mature, red fruits, such as cherries, amarena cherries, dried prunes, woodland fruits, blackberries and blueberries.
