Cru Scarrone. Wine Production Ripe grapes fermented in specially crafted Fontainebleau oak vats with extended maceration on the skins.. This wine comes from our vineyards in Castiglione Falletto, at the heart of the Scarrone Cru area, where we have rebuilt the old farmhouse with a wine cellar well stocked with wooden vats to permit the fermentation of Nebbiolo on the spot. Vinification of pure Nebbiolo with extensive maceration in oak testifies to our respect for tradition and the goal of making remarkable wines, full-bodied, robust and particularly long. Suave, finely cellared and with a non-aggressive structure, this wine does not lack personality. In vintages favorable to structure, the time possibly spent in barriques encourages prospective drinkers not to open these great bottles too hastily (12 x 75 cl)
