Description: Generic Tasting Notes Straw yellow colour. Clean and floral nose with fruity notes hinting at banana and pineapple. Nice white fruit on the palate with fresh acidity on the finish. Producer Notes The 'Terrazze della Luna' wines are produced from selected, higher altitude and lower yielding vineyards by Cantine Palazzo S.C.a.r.l in Trento, one of the group of co-operatives that form Ca'Vit, which was established in 1957. Overall they make an extraordinary range of wines from correct, well-made and commercial varietals to some truly fine, single vineyard selection, individual specialities. To achieve this Ca'Vit's winemakers, technicians and vineyard managers oversee all areas of production, working closely with the growers' co-operative cellars to maximise quality of the grapes in the vineyard, the wines, and sales and marketing. Description: Produced using the metodo classico this Rose is a combination of 25% Chardonnay and 75% Pinot Nero using grapes are grown in the Adige Valley north of Trento. A soft rose coloured wine with an elegant, fruity and persistent bouquet showing a dry, fresh and fragrant style. Mezzacorona Societa Cooperativa Agricola was founded in 1904 and it was one of the first growers associations to be organised in Italy. It comprises 2,400 hectares of vineyards , with an annual production of 300,000 quintals of quality grapes. Overall they make an extraordinary range of wines from correct, well-made and commercial varietals to some truly fine, single vineyard selection, individual specialities. Description: The founder Giulio Ferrari was born in 1879 and after a classical wine education that included studying at the Institute of Viticulture in Montpellier he decided to take on the french at their own game and in 1902 started his own vineyard. Successful but without a family to leave the estate too he choose a local producer to take over and develop the business. In 1952 Bruno Lunelli and his family took control and the name of the comapny was changed to Ferrari F.lli Lunelli and it has gone from strength to strength. Adopting the traditional method for producing sparkling wine this 100% Chardonnay is left a minimun of 36 months on its own lees before bottling. A blanc de blanc cremant it has been skillfully produced with just a hint of effervescence. A straw-yellow coloured sparkling wine with green hues, the bouquet is intense, fresh with fruit notes of ripe apple and field flowers. Clean and harmonious, with good fruit balance, it has a continuous bread and an enjoyable finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Adopting the traditional method for producing sparkling wine this Pinot Noir and Chardonnay rose is left a minimum of 24 months on its own lees before bottling. A brilliant pink coloured sparkling wine it has a fine, persistent perlage and good effervescence. The nose is showing intense, clean and pleasing aromas of tangerine, raspberry and cherry followed by strawberry, yeasts, bread crust and peach. The mouth follows on from the nose with considerable intensity while the crisp attack and good balance lead to a persistent, enjoyable finish. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The Wine: deep bright ruby-red; intense, complex bouquet with hints of raspberry jam and a background of spices and traces of hay, eucalyptus and dried violet; clean, full, warm, well-balanced flavour with a fine aftertaste of fruits, liquorice and toasted hazelnuts, which lingers in the mouth. Vinification: the ripe grapes, picked in the middle of October are vinified by the traditional red wine method, with a long maceration ; the must ferments at 28-30ºC. Ageing: 80% of the wine is aged for 12 months in vats of Slavonian oak; the remainder stays 6 months in new barrels of American oak , very rich in aromatic substances.
