Besserat de Bellefon GRANDE TRADITION VINTAGE Champagne
Description: Straw colour with amber highlights and fine crystalline bubbles forming a discreet ring in the glass. Intense nose opening with elegance and notes of citrus fruit, quince and pear and moving towards honeyed and toasted aromas reminiscent of Viennese buns. Good weight on the palate, full-bodied with good structure. Wine with aromas of candied fruit and toasted bread with some perceptible notes of menthol. A great wine, from an exceptional harvest, being fresh and well-rounded with good structure. A blend from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs. The Chardonnay is very evident in this Champagne, but Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier complete the range of aromas and add structure to the wine. Blend 59 % Chardonnay 23 % Pinot Meunier 18 % Pinot Noir Crus in the blend : Avize, Cramant, Cumières, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Venteuil and Vertus. The Grande Cuvée Vintage does not undergo malolactic fermentation. (6 x 75 cl)

Description: The colour is a soft pink with orange and salmon highlights Fine froth forming a creamy ring in the glass. The nose is intense and clean with notes of slightly candied small red fruit, especially wild strawberry. It carries suggestions of almond and red currant jelly. Good weight on the palate. Attack is slightly acid, then red fruit are back to the fore with black and red currants. Mouth is fleshy, fresh and tender. Definitely balanced with very silky texture. The finish is lively, not aggressive, with persistent length. A delicately soft rosé.
