Description:
Made from a high proportion of Pinot Noir grapes, with a minimum of two years bottle age on its lees, and has a pleasing roundness and richness. The Comte de Robart rosé is made in the traditional champenois method. This means blending Chardonnay and pinot noir and Meunier vinified as white wines with approximately 20% red wine made from the two pinots. The wine the undergoes second fermentation in bottle before being disgorged. Delicate salmon pink colour with fine bubbles. Fruity and elegant on the nose followed by a persistent yeasty flavour on the palate. A high proportion of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier gives this wine its characteristic flavour and aroma.
