Chateau de la Saule 1er Cru Montagny
Description: A serious dry wine with great complexity. Grape picking is done by hand and it is aged for a short time in oak casks which helps to enhance its golden colour and hazelnut flavour. Probably the best of the white wines from the Cotes Chalonnaises. The Chateau de la Saule, the largest and most prestigious domaine in the appellation of Montagny. It has been in the Roy family since 1805. Alain Roy, the current proprietor, has been responsible for the entire domaine since 1972 and continues the tradition of producing top quality wines. Paul Boutinot CRAY Brut Montlouis Mousseux
Description: Crisp, light and lively with biscuity fruit and a delicate mousse. Produced in the famous commune of Mont Louis by Paul Boutinot who is a perfectionist when it comes to French wines. After a traditional “Champenoise” fermentation the wine is left on its lees for at least five years in cool, chalk cellars allowing it to develop complexity and structure. (6 x 75 cl)
