| Description: |
 |
In 1610 The Gurchy family was already was producing wine when they purchased Chateau Laroze and today their direct decendents the Meslin family still own the property. Today however, Chateau Laroze has 70 acres of vines that spead out from the foothill of the medieval village of St Emilion and into the surrounding region. The estate is planted with 68% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon that makes up the composition this deep red coloured wine. The wine is aged in 225-litre oak barrels between 12 to 14 months and this has produced a stong black fruit bouquet that develops on the palate through to the long finish. (12 x 75 cl)
