This beautiful 19th Century white stone Chateau sits above a vast cool, barriques-adorned cellar. The estate, in the south west corner of Montagne St Emilion, is planted predominantly with Merlot but also includes 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is forty years old, harvest is predominantly manual and yields are kept to a minimum. Once fermented the wines rest in barriques, a quarter of which are new, for over a year. The wines are intense and terroir-driven, displaying at the same time, purity structure and individuality.
