Jacob's Creek Sparkling Rose is a non-vintage bottle fermented sparkling wine, which is vintaged from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes sourced from a variety of Australia's grape growing regions. This Sparkling Rose is a soft pink colour with a fine and persistent mousse while the lemon citrus aromas of Chardonnay are in harmony with the fresh strawberry and red currant characters of Pinot Noir. Showing generous red berry and citrus fruit flavours that enrich the palate with creamy yeast autolysis that provide both depth and flavour, while the wine finishes soft and round, with lingering berry flavours. Bremerton RACY ROSE Shiraz Cabernet Langhorne Creek South Australia
Description: The Bremerton story began in 1985 when Craig and Mignonne Willson purchased the property and established a long term restoration and development plan. The winery was established in 1988 and now has 110 acres planted at Langhorne Creek and is joint owner and manager of another 180 acres from which it selects the best fruit each year for its wines. Best quality practices ensure best quality grapes and the Bremerton vineyards predominantly grow Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot, with small plantings of Sauvignon Blanc, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The winemaking team headed by family member and winemaker Rebecca Willson has taken the quality of the wines to new standards. Rebecca seeks the best possible fruit from the Bremerton Estate and other specialised Langhorne Creek vineyards to craft traditional, full bodied, full flavoured, mouth filling Langhorne Creekwines that show a consistency of style whilst encouraging the true varietal grape characteristics to be expressed. The winery has invested heavily in a premium French & Amercian oak program using 220 litre barriques to ensure subtle and complementary oak influences. The winery utilises tradtional open top fermenters, made from stainless steel and a purpose built barrel cellar for maturation. New laboratory and tasting facilities have also been added to the winery. The best parcels of Shiraz had some of their juice drained off when the extraction colour was perfect, the juice was then cooled, settled and racked. A yeast was chosen that would enhance the natural characters of the berry and the ferment was treated just like a delicate white. The wine was then stabilised, filtered and bottled. This is the third vintage of Racy Rose, produced from 100% estate grown fruit. The philosophy behind this rose is to produce a wine that is easy drinking. The colour is bright and vibrant with a nose that shows wonderfully lifted crushed strawberry and watermelon characteristics. As the name suggests the palate is vibrant and racy with sweet cherry while the finish is dryer than most rose's, flavorsome and refreshing. (12 x 75 cl) Price: £96.38

Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma County California
Description: Cooler vineyard temperatures preserve zinfandel’s juicy acidity and allowed for the grape tannins to mature on the vine while infusing scents of cracked black pepper and heightening zin’s briary, spicy essence. Fine, ripe tannins add a velvety richness seldom found in Zinfandel, while the elegant richness, broad mouth feel and a lingering minerality elicit typicity that indicate superior grape growing. Savory purity of fruit with both aromas and flavours of blueberry and cherry abound. Fruit for this wine came from four estate vineyards: San Lorenzo, Home Ranch, Lone Oak and River Road in Alexander Valley and Cortina in Dry Creek Valley. Once in the winery the results of vinification and 12 months in oak; of which 75% was American and 25% French; is a good colour and soft, ripe tannins. The Seghesio Story begins in 1886 when Edoardo Seghesio departed his family’s vineyards in Piedmonte, Italy for a new life in America. Like so many immigrants, he was drawn to Northern Sonoma County and the Italian Swiss Colony, to follow his passion for winemaking. The “colony,” as it was known, hired immigrants for three year stints, providing room and board and then, a lump sum at the end of those three years enabling employees to buy land or set up a business in their new home. Soon, Edoardo rose through the ranks to winemaker. Yet, he yearned for home. The Colony’s manager repeatedly encouraged him to stay and finally, it was his niece and the opportunity to purchase land that convinced Edoardo to remain. That young girl, Angela Vasconi and Edoardo were married in 1893. In 1895, they purchased a modest home in northern Alexander Valley, less for the home than the surrounding 56 acres Edoardo recognized as ideal vineyard land. They planted the “Home Ranch” that year to what has become the family’s lifeline – Zinfandel. Today his grandchildren share his passion as they farm over 80 hectares of Zinfandel in Alexander and Dry Creek Valley. Available in 37.5 cl Half Bottles. (12 x 37.5 cl) Price: £122.09

Seghesio Zinfandel Sonoma County California
Description: The Sonoma County Zinfandel is made from grapes grown in many different vineyards, all of which add their individual characters to the wine. On the palate, it is an appealing blend of rich, dark fruit with juicy blackberry notes and an inviting Sonoma briary/spicy character. Ripe, supple tannins provide a backbone for the juicy fruit and give the wine a firm elegance.
