Pighin Pinot Grigio del Collio DOC
Description: Pighin’s story begins in 1963, when brothers Luigi, Ercole and Fernando purchased a 200 hectare estate in Risano, in the Friuli Grave D.O.C. area, which belonged to a noble friulan family. Today, the company vinifies only grapes coming from its own estates at the cellars of Risano and Spessa that are equipped with the most modern and advanced technologies. The Collio vineyards used in making this wine are situated on the south facing slopes of the Gorizia hills, located on the most favourable and sunny hillsides. This Pinot Grigio is a brilliant straw yellow colour with amber reflections and a bouquet that is persistent and appealing, well pronounced, harmonious showing banana and toasted coffee. Fresh, dry, inviting and long lasting the well balanced body is harmonious, persistent, distinct and clear. (6 x 75 cl)

Bellanotte CONTE LUCIO Pinot Grigio Venezia Giulia IGT
Description: Bellanotte is an eight-hectare farm in the variegated terroirs of the Isonzo valley and Collio hills. The soil is mainly calcareous with the presence of red gravels and a layer of ferrous stone. The harvest is manual with careful bunch selection while in the winery a pre-fermentation cold maceration helps to extract the aromatic components of the grapes and an extended period in contact with the lees lends the wine its eventual softness and equilibrium. This is the true ramato Pinot Grigio with a light amber colour and a pearly sheen in the glass. The nose suggests hay, elderflower and tea rose, followed by red apple, with light tones of dried fruits and almonds. The fine acidity gives the wine sapidity and persistence. (6 x 75 cl)

Livon VILLA CHIOPRIS Pinot Grigio Friuli Grave DOC
Description: In 1964 Dorino Livon purchased the first piece of property in the hills of Collio and step by step added new parcels to his portfolio. In this way, the Azienda Agricola Livon slowly but steadily continues to grow and continuing this trend Villa Chiopris was purchased in 1992. This seventy-hectare property lies between the towns of Chiopris and Viscone in a large plain, rich in iron and alluvial soils, that extends from the edge of the Veneto region in the west and the Colli Orientali del Friuli region in the east with the Moreniche hills to the North. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. They are then left for four months in the same tanks to mature, this is followed by a further 2 months refining in bottle before release. This Pinot Grigio is packed with rich fresh fruit flavours such as honey and apple, it is well balanced with a very good structure leading to an elegant dry finish. (6 x 75 cl)
