Vineyards This wine is produced from grapes grown in the renowned Brancott region of Marlborough. Careful vineyard management enabled us to pick the grapes at optimal maturity resulting in great flavour and acid balance. Winemaking The grapes were harvested in the cool of the evening and immediately pressed to retain the delicate fruit flavours and aromas. The j uice was cool fermented and then allowed to rest on the yeast lees for five months. A small portion of the j uice was fermented and aged in new French oak barriques and then blended with the tank fermented wine prior to bottling. Winemaking: After spending two nights resting on skins, vibrantly coloured and flavoured cabernet and merlot juice was drained from our red fermenters then cool fermented to retain all of the generous fruit and freshness prized in good Rosè. The yeast was arrested while a small amount of residual sugar remained and wine bottled soon after to retain freshness.
