Cascina Castlet MOSCATO D'ASTI DOCG
Description: Gently frothy. The intense, heady Muscat perfumes have the immediacy of freshly picked grapes. The wine’s natural sweetness is offset by a fine, clean acidity. Thanks to a unique combination of brilliantly innovative packing and exciting and rare styles, the wines of Cascina Castlet have quickly developed a cult following. Passum is their most famous wine, a Barbera made from partially dried grapes. Quantities are extremely limited and demand is high. Other notable wines include Litina, a cru Barbera d’Asti with considerable depth and concentration, and a sublimely scented Moscato d’Asti, as well as Avie, an intense Moscato passito (12 x 75 cl)

Bava BASS TUBA Moscato d'Asti Piedmont
Description: Tasting Light straw yellow color, with constant strings of fine bubbles. The fragrance is reinforced by the extraordinarily rich natural sugar content, perfectly balanced by the right degree of acidity. Vineyard/TerritoryGrapes cultivated in a single, historic vineyard in Castiglione Tinella. Wine Production The grapes are picked in wicker baskets, pressed and the must is kept at low temperatures. The wine is then bottled immediately after fermentation. We are enchanted by this extroverted, sunny Moscato, which we have called Bass Tuba ever since, back in the nineteen- eighties, we were the first to break with tradition and modernize the image then associated with Asti Spumante. Bottling it in a Bordeaux bottle normally utilized for an important red and a careful selection and reduction of vineyard yields, maniacally scrupulous cellar handling and bottle aging finished the job. Today, Bass Tuba is still a Cru and still provides full satisfaction, even in the new half-bottle format. A key feature is its low alcohol content, making it a wine everyone can drink, perfect for toasts on any occasion. It should always be stored and served well chilled. We are still convinced we have chosen the right instrument for the label, suggesting celebrations and rich band sounds, as distinctive as the aroma of Bava Moscato (12 x 37.5 cl)
