Carignan 80% / Grenache 20% A vibrant coloured wine with aromas of cooked fruit and cherries followed by smoky notes and a touch of garrigue herbs . A well structured wine balanced by good tannins. Drink now to enjoy the lively and youthful fruit. A bright clour. Rich aroma of cherry and redcurrant followed by a multitude of fresh red summer fruits. Soft tannins, fresh and well balanced. Unpretentious, yet delicat and fresh. The winemakers at Domaine Des Deux Anes gained a wealth of experience working in the Jura, Macon and Beaujolais regions before focusing on the enormous potential of The Languedoc. It took Domaine des Deux Anes one year of research to uncover an exceptional vineyard at the Peyriac de Mer, in the Corbieres just 10 km. south of Narbonne. The vineyard is situated on the hillside overlooking the salt lagoons and the sea, and Domaine des Deux Anes also built a state of the art winery which encompasses the best of the new and the old. It has temperature controlled vats as well as traditional oak vinification barrels, all in an air-conditioned environment. The vines are privilege to an exceptional amount of sunlight and low rainfall; the deep soils enabling the plants to withstand any drought. We have decided to limit ourselves to 20 ha, as our is a hands on approach, with attention to detail. (12 x 75 cl)

The wine evolves in the glass giving raisin and nutty characters, and a soft fleshy and supple finish. A deep ruby colour. A rich and complex nose of ripe fruit: plum, cherry, the sweetness of pears and hints of caramel. A smooth attack, supported by a lovely freshness. A discreet structure with good persistent fruit.
